Words

Welcome to the course! Start off with these videos and then get outside!

Video: “David Attenborough – What A Wonderful World” (2:04; low res)

Video: “Beautiful World – Wild Animals (Petar Milinković)” (2:33)

Works

Just get out there! Start your natural history journal. Start deciding what you’d like to have for your species list or two. Set aside a few pages for your ID list (Adam’s task). Get a method for recording that works for you. Get used to your equipment (hand lens, binocs, any apps, note taking stuff, clothing…). And, most importantly, just be there. Look around. Use all of your senses. Be there and nowhere else in your mind. Get used to doing that.
